I have been busy tadpole spotting in Granny and Bampi’s pond. The tadpoles are now swimming around. I also spotted 20+ Newts which I think are fascinating!

Toad eggs come in long strips that are a bit like jelly were as tadpoles come in clumps.
The tadpoles all start as a big clump of eggs and then later on there tadpoles,most of the time they are still but sometimes the wiggle.

In class we have looked at the life cycle of frogs and toads. We found the frogs cute.

That’s a lot of newts! My dad found a gold fish in his pond that has tried to swallow a newt! When he pulled the newt out they both were alive!
