We designed and made Christmas cards to send off to be printed. They have just come back in lots of time for Christmas and we love them!
We have enjoyed improving our tennis skills this half term.
We learned this song, and we wanted to share it with the world as we love singing it!
We wrote postcards whilst on Lundy and they have arrived! It was really interesting to learn about the stamps-can you remember what Frances said about them?
We have presented some of the poetry that we wrote whilst working with Andy Tooze. We would love to know what you think!
We all did really well at the cross country event held at Pilton Community College.
We have started learning different instruments as part of our class orchestra. We have learned how to unpack and hold our instruments and have spent some time researching and learning to play some basic notes.
We were so interested in the rocks and crystals that we have been learning about in class that some of us brought some in from home and went looking on the beach after school.
We used them for our learning in art using feathers and Indian ink to draw basic shapes and show shadow and tone using different consistencies.
Inspired by our visit to Lundy, we revisited learning around the three different types of rocks: sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous and how they are formed. We explored some rocks together and had fun identifying them, then used them for inspiration for some continuous line drawing in black ink.
We were very fortunate to have Andy Tooze working with us in school for the day. He made us laugh lots and inspired us to write poetry. We will be sharing our poems on here when we have finished presenting them.
